| Welcome traveler!
If you're here, you probably are seeking enlightenment on the path to Logic. Well, I can't promise you that, but I will try to provide some ideas on how to manage the transition from other DAWs like ProTools and DigitalPerformer. As time goes along we'll add more content. Please note that is not meant to be comprehensive. There are other great sites out there with information on Logic, but most focus on midi capabilities, in part becuase Logic excels in this area, and the depth of the program is staggering. But many of us do lots of audio, and Logic is no slouch in this area too. Through my learning process I have found quite a bit of FUD and misinformation concerning doing audio in Logic. The conventional wisdom is that editing audio is difficult in Logic, and that ProTools or DigitalPerformer are faster/easier/better. While Logic might not be as immediately intuitive, once you understand a few basic principles, you can do whatever you need to do. And Logic6 will make things even easier (look for an updated version of the tutorial as soon as I get my v6 upgrade.
