Kaz Takeda Quartet is great jazz and blues. I am currently on semi-hiatus, with Larry Rott taking over bass chores. I still show up to sit in, and for the occasional "proper" first set. I hope to get us back in the studio for a new album after the 1st of the year.
The new Nostatic album moves forward. I am slowlly working more on the album. Instead of dredging up all the old stuff, I'm writing all new material. I have 8 songs worth of new lyrics, and I'm now working on the music. Look for a single or two to be released in the next few months. I think I'm ready to let Voodoo Chile be released into the wild though. I want to finish up a "B" side (or "A" side for that matter) to go along with it.
