The “real” world is no longer just the physical – digital and analog are increasingly co-mingled. They don’t really mix, but rather, like oil and vinegar, form an emulsion. We already are breaking time and space with digital communication and collaboration tools. As we begin to mix live and virtual, both for training/learning, work, and play, what are the broader implications? With increasing information streams, how will a human be able to make a cogent decision? And what about leadership? In the near future, a leader will likely be in charge of both humans and machines. How will a person deal with these combinatorial streams and spaces? Welcome to your future in emulsional worlds.
