revenge of the Luddites?

A piece in The Guardian about a change in zeitgeist around emerging technology. We’re coming up on three decades of digital (I start counting in 1995 when Netscape went public) – could it be that the inherent disconnect between analog and digital is finally starting to drive pushback? Or is this just a romantic fling until AI permeates the landscape? There is a saying – tech is easy, culture is hard. In a world of constant distraction, it can be easy to forget cultural aspects. But at the end of the day, the person holding the device is a human, not an algorithm. Odds are 2024 will be an interesting year…
