Her research interests include health care costs and payment policy, health care technology, and the implementation of machine learning\/artificial intelligence to improve public health.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Pardee RAND, she managed a state-federal grant program to improve healthcare data interoperability across California and conducted research on a virtual reality\u2013based therapeutic for pain management.
