Despite <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"strong scientific evidence (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/goatsandsoda\/2020\/04\/23\/841729646\/virus-researchers-cast-doubt-on-theory-of-coronavirus-lab-accident\" target=\"_blank\">strong scientific evidence<\/a> that continues to come in. While we can never be 100% certain about pretty much anything in the realm of science, we certainly can amass enough evidence to have a pretty good idea of how things work. But the narrative of a zoonotic jump for the Coronavirus isn&#8217;t exciting, and certainly doesn&#8217;t advance certain political agendas. So we have fringe (and sometimes more mainstream) media crafting logically flawed &#8220;evidence&#8221; that some consume and pass to their friends.
