In court filings from last week in VA, Microsoft argues that the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.malwarebytes.com\/detections\/trojan-trickbot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Trickbot<\/a> botnet causes customer confusion by using Microsoft logos and other marks after infecting a machine. Hard for the courts to argue against that, so Microsoft got the green light to start taking out bot servers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can read the Microsoft blog post about the action <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/security\/blog\/2020\/10\/12\/trickbot-disrupted\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>. In addition, US Cyber Command has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cyberscoop.com\/trickbot-takedown-cyber-command-microsoft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">working hard<\/a> as well, going after Trickbot.
