Sometimes the boy finds something brilliant. Like this.
This was a triumph.
I'm making a note here
HUGE SUCCESS
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.
Aperture Science
We do what we must because we can.
For the good of all of us.
Except the ones who are dead.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
And the Science gets done.
And you make a neat gun.
For the people who are still alive.
No sense wasting time...
Still in decompress mode, and having the range closed isn't helping. Amazing how blasting paper targets can be relaxing. But at least up on 2 wheels (both versions), nobody fell over, and sushi to boot. Fireworks on tv aren't quite the same, but when you're in anti-social mode...
While most everyone celebrated here, others were working. And dying. A quick scan of the week's military deaths indicates part of why we've been working so hard. And now to make it better...

Hey, if Lance can do it, why can't I? Well, other than the lack of time or talent...never too late for a new start.

I got no focus.
No wait. Timing. I got no timing.
No wait. Veracity. I got no veracity.
No wait. Focus. I got no...umm...what was the question?
I've lost track. But there are some number of days left and it is less than 30. I suppose I should do the maths...
Another trip south for dog-and-pony, traveled on 2-wheels. Last time I did this work trip I ended up with sciatica and was off the bike for a month or so. So far so good...
How can I trim down 45 minutes of perfect footage down to a 7 minute trailer? I suppose you divide by 6 with 3 left over. Whatever that means.
Note to self: laptops get wicked hot when rendering video.
Actually, no keel on a Catalina 14.2, but someone knows his stuff...

Conference in Monterey. Hooray! Road trip on the bike. No wait. VIPs in NC. Red-eye back east? No wait. Location scout in the desert. Hey, I know. Ride north Mon, back south Tue, into desert early Wed AM, back to LAX Wed PM, red-eye to NC, back to LAX Thu PM.
Uh, no. Only one trip wins. Drumroll.................................BARSTOW! In July. It's a dry heat.
It's Friday. If only that meant something.
There's a new kid in town (apologies to the Eagles)

uggh
But it's a dry heat.
Actually a little more than 400 miles. And a couple hundred degrees. Three mouts, deep in the box.
left or right
prime or zoom
give or take
can't relate
sleep or wake
choose or not
cold or hot
allegiance taught
or learned
Well, I suppose it is an option but not one I'm willing to put up with. Especially for a $300K LMS. That system better work ALL the time *and* make my espresso for me.
I hate contractors...
On foot. Zoom experimenting.

8 hours of driving and no surf at the end of the day. But could be worse. I always could be worse...

What happens when you miss a couple of classes? Well you stand around like an idiot when the class runs the form. How does that move go again? Thank gawd for youtube...
Yeah, Shatner did Palin, but I prefer Shatner doing Taupin

literally
