funky junky

No, not a Ben & Jerry's flavor, although that is food for thought. No, instead that would be me after a month on vicodin. I didn't take a ton of it, but a couple every day, usually at bed time and some times in the middle of the night if the knee was driving me nuts. I've been going without crutches more and more and although the knees is painful from time to time, I think it is time to gut it out. Of course my body doesn't really like that very much...it would like some more vicodin, thank you very much.

So it was off to Dr. Ma today to get needles stuck everywhere in an attempt to get the system a bit realigned. Helped a bit, and I have some herbs, mostly for help in healing the wounds. As for the other, I've been there before. Just suck it up and feel crappy for however long it takes. Suck down a bunch of fluids to help flush me out. And there'll be a few sleepless nights. But just another example that there is no free lunch. The pills helped me deal with the pain, but you can't get away without paying a price. Just part of the whole accident gestalt...
