Looks like Michael Schumacher will not finish is amazing career with his 8th drvier's championship. He was leading Fernando Alonso by about 6 seconds after the second and final round of pit stops when smoke started coming out of the left bank of his Ferrari V8. Slowly he pulled off-line as Alonso went by. It was sad to watch. There is something about going out on the highest of notes, but maybe he actually did just that. When he came back to the garage, he went around and embraced all of the mechanics with a smile on his face. Then it was to the pit wall and Ferrari race control, with more hugs for Ross Brawn and Jean Todt. Perhaps that is the highest of notes...accepting bad luck gracefully, and giving kudos to those that worked hard to make all the greatness possible.
