After the lovely $40 cab ride from the westside to NoHo, I paid my repair tab (smog and some oil/exhaust leaks fixed), climbed back in my 911 and drove to ACC to give my talk. Then after much discussion, drove to pick up the boy, then to meet the plumber. I love that car. And thankfully my leg is in pretty good shape, so driving it is not a problem. It is obvious that I'm going to need to put a few miles on it to get my leg back into racing shape. Luckily my next event is two short track series, and I'll just take it easy getting back into the swing of things. The "real" deal will be in December when I do my second race clinic, hopefully leading to my provisional wheel-to-wheel license...
