slow death

Well, when it rains it pours. I suppose it could be all the obsessing over cameras, but while I've been thinning the herd the remaining horses are off their pace. Will I have to put them down? First off was the D70. I had someone coming over to buy it and I decided to shoot some test shots. And saw this:

So of course I had to disclose this to the prospective buyer. My and my scruples. Then today while shooting at the park, I got a couple of weird photos from the Leica. I did drop it a few weeks ago but it has been fine, albeit dented. However this doesn't look so good:

Even though it is only a month or two old, I'm sure that the drop will void the warranty. *sigh*

So the NIkon goes off to service for a sensor replacement ($$$). When I get it back it'll be up for sale again but it'll be a couple hundred burned. As for the Leica...who knows. The biggest question is what I'm going to do about Hong Kong. I gotta take pics. I was going to wait to get another dslr, but I'll likely pick one up to take with me in case the Leica dies during the trip. It's always something. There are much worse problems to have...
