A quiet non-day essentially. Stayed home sick as the flu is nipping at my heels. Had to run a few errands though, as there was no food in the house. Turns out the boy stayed home as well, so he got dropped off in the afternoon (he wasn't home when I was supposed to pick him up - shock). He didn't seem so sick though...
At any rate, the evening was spent scrubbing the kitchen and bathroom, figuring out that my old brakes won't work with my new road frame (more $$$ that needs to be spent), and trying to figure out an analytical grid document I need to write. Oh, and there was the play test of my new game for work during a conference call.
Of course the depressing stuff is still dogging me (along with the flu). I was supposed to be racing in Vegas this weekend, but the flu and a serious budget crunch conspired against me. The $10K tranny rebuild didn't help. Ok, it actually was a pretty serious death blow. But I'm calming down and haven't put the 911 up for sale. Yet.
So happy v-day to all out there. Hopefully your valentine is in the same zip code. Or at least time zone. Or at least on the same day. Some of us aren't so lucky, but that'll change as well. Gotta get over this flu before I climb on a plane for Hong Kong. That will not be fun if I'm still sick...
