Chalk it up to the "one never knows" adage. Looking at a casting list and you see a name and think, "probably not." And then they come in, sit down, and knock the part right out of the park. It just goes to show you, that one shouldn't prejudge, and it is important to remain open to the possibilities and at least see/hear them out.
