All day meetings are an interesting phenomenon. I had someone actually mention that they had never been in one or think that they existed. I've been in plenty, as when you're breaking story or spitballing or blue skying (or any other number of verbicized nouns), it takes time. In general I've found that mornings are the most productive portion, with the expected lag after lunch and then another burst. But around 3pm the energy starts lagging and eventually burn out is the order of the day. Luckily drinks in the evening seem to recharge at least some of the people. Because we do it again the next day...
