Tonight it was Hou Hsiao-Hsien's Three Times . Someone has the hots for Chang Chen but he's no Tony Leung. Shu Qi is sassy, but I think I remember her from some more...uh....ribald material. The interwebs is a wonderful thing. Not that I know anything about that. At any rate, a little slow, and the middle "time" was a bit odd. Not sure about going silent but shooting in color. But I'm not the director.
