We live in an analog world - it is a continuous stream, and the concept of "being in the moment" is a personal challenge. While certain activities speak to this "flow", invariably our rendering of the world becomes digital; not necessarily in the technical sense (zeros and ones), but rather as slices of time. Yet a still image can capture a moment, and represent fluidity and transformation.
"passage" - Tunnels have always been a reification of transformation for me. We are constantly in motion on our journey, and despite the darkness there is always light at the end, and markers along the way.
"inverse" - Taken at Mirror Lake in Yosemite Valley, this speaks to reflection in our lives, and the fact that often things are not as we assume.
