Ryuichi KawasakiThe youngest member of Simpleflower, Ryuichi Kawasaki was born in Kagoshima, Japan on May 12, 1983. He started banging on the drums at age 12 and quickly developed a unique and driving technique. At 18, he won Grand Prize in a drumming contest by the only drumming magazine in Japan; Rythm and Drum Magazine. He may be young in years but he has had no shortage of experience as he has drummed for 50 different bands since his preteen beginnings.Furthuring his achievements, he recently graduated from the Los Angeles Music Academy. With strong influences by Radiohead, Steely Dan, Chemical Brothers and Steve Gadd, Ryuichi has no shortage of talent! |
